Dr. Ly is an Associate Clinical Professor in the Department of Biomedical Sciences at the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine (UNE COM) and the Co-Director of the Osteopathic Medical Knowledge (OMK) Course in Year 1. She teaches pharmacology and therapeutics in Years 1 and 2 of the undergraduate medical education curricula. Dr. Ly earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a Minor in Education from Temple University, Doctor of Pharmacy from Temple University School of Pharmacy, and Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership from University of New England. She is licensed to practice as a clinical pharmacist in the State of Maine and Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. She is certified by the American Pharmacists Association (APhA) in Medication Therapy Management (MTM). Before joining UNE COM, she was a clinical pharmacist at Northern Light Mercy Hospital in Portland, Maine. She is currently working on mentoring research in dental medicine education based on a formal mentoring program that she helped create at the University of New England College of Dental Medicine (UNE CDM), medical education research, and research in Pharmacoeconomics.
