
Elise Ostensson, M.S., OTR/L, CSRS
Location
Academically, Elise is an educator who specializes in the study of human movement and how it supports human occupation. She includes her passion for assistive technology in her courses when able.
Clinically, Elise specializes in treating adults and older adults across the continuum of care with neurological conditions and complex medical diagnoses. She is a Certified Stroke Rehabilitation Specialist (CSRS), and previously completed: a three-day neuroanatomical dissection lab of brain and spinal cord.
Elise seeks out opportunities to engage with the community, and serves as faculty advisor for community partnership to provide interprofessional experiences for students in the MSOT program.
Elise also serves as a mentor to students who are applying to the Center to Advance Interprofessional Education and Practice (CAIEP) for the Interprofessional Honors Distinction. The distinction recognizes students' interprofessional activity and learning while at UNE and is a nationally recognized micro credential.
